Z przyjemnoscia rekomenduje ten adres. Bardzo mili i uczynni wlasciciele. Kwatera czysta i urzadzona ze smakiem . Niedaleko mostu Galata na wzgórzu .Widok na Zatoke Zlotego Rogu.
Niedaleko do przystanku tramwajowego. W okolicy sporo punktów sklepowych i handlowych.
Stary dom wielopietrowy odnowiony. Meble IKEA, pelne wyposazenie kuchni.Lazienka z wanna i ciepla woda non stop.
Pobyt niezwykle udany . Chetnie tu wrócimy.
Dodam, ze ujela nas zyczliwosc i uprzejmosc spotykanych ludzi , ich sklonnosc do pomocy i nawiazania kontaktu dla samej konwersacji. Piekne miasto i mila kwatera.

Juz marzymy o powrocie.

Goraco polecam . Bylo wspaniale. Swietna lokalizacja, przemili gospodarze. Zaczarowane miasto pelne tajemnic.
Mieszkanie czyste i urzadzone komfortowo.
Juz marzymy o powrocie.
Serdecznie pozdrawiam Metehana.

I was in Galata Arms in January for three weeks, and now I have again a feeling that it would be great to return back to Istanbul and Galata Arms (or other Sweet Home places). I really enjoyed working and writing my book by the window looking at the church and the mosque. Galata Arms has an excellent position; easy to go everywhere and near a main pedestrian area. Facilities in Galata Arms were good and the Internet connection invaluable. Looking forward to return one day!

Absolut empfehlenswert, jeden Euro Miete wert!

Dear Metehan,

a pity that we had to return back home! we fell in love with Istanbul and somehow think that the apartment´s contribution sould not be underestimated! In such a buzzling city with so many exciting aspects to be discovered a sound base in a nice setting is indespensible to calm down and have a nice look on bosporus.

We loved Istanbul – the culture, the people, the drive the city has – and we loved the apartment and even got used to the Muezzin calling! And we shall certainly return!

all the best,

Anke and Anja

my friends and i from all over the world (nyc, paris, pakistan) met up in istanbul at the tea & gossip balcony for 9 nights. we went to istanbul to celebrate the wedding of a dear friend. tea + gossip balcony was the perfect apartment for us to rent–located in hip cihangir and with two balconies we always found time for a glass of wine on the back terrace! there is nothing better than catching up with old friends over a glass of wine on a balcoy in istanbul! metehan was really helpful & the flat is very well done. the decoration is tasteful and comfortable. i actually recommended the flat and istanbul sweet home to my friends who live in istanbul & often have out of town guests. it’s a wonderful alternative to a hotel and really makes you feel like you are a resident of istanbul (for a short time anyways…).

Dear Ozkan,
that’s it, we returned home at Nantes (at the other end of europe ;-).

We really spent a pleasant stay in Istanbul. And like, we are passionate about the history and arts, we have therefore been filled. Your apartment was very pleasant and the area is charmant, we will not hesitate to return and recommend it to our friends or our family.

Our hearts are little bit stambouliotes now!

Sincerely yours

Pierre et Maria

I had a wonderful stay in Cihangir Terrase. A helpful landlord, an ideal location, very complete furshishing, and a terrase that is perfect for dinning under Istanbul summer nights skies… What else can one ask for? I definitely recommend this appartement.

We stayed at Galata Arms for two months (April 17 to June 12, 2008). Our stay was made more enjoyable by the extra things that Metahan was able to do. We called him at 5am for an emergency and was at the flat in no time. He gave us a lot of useful information including the name of a trusted travel agent that saved us time in arranging our excursions to other parts of Turkey.
When we were stuck for a solution in how to get to the airport( for our excursions ) at 5am, Metahan came to the rescue by arranging this. Most memorable for us was the couple of times he was able to share a glass of wine with us. Our discussions ware varied and enlightening. Best of all for me ( John ), and I am sorry I did not try sooner, was the day that Metahan took me to experince a “Turkish” shave; I would go back to Istanbul just to try this and probably get a haircut too.
The Flat had all the amenities that was advertised on the net and all the comforts we needed. The location was ideal in that we could walk to Istiklal Caddesi and take the transportation we needed to other parts of the city. The flat looked on a church and a mosque was beside the church. Most days we heard the call for prayers from the mosque starting at 5am and ending at 10:30pm and the church bells later in the day. After this the street chatter was on; people talking, kids playing, street vendors singing their sale items, artisans below working, seaguls squakking, birds singing and even the cats’ mating lullaby made us feel we were living a local Stanbulites.
We will not hesitate to go back to the same flat and live like locals.
